Original news Signed the contract of the Metalmeccanici, increase salary of 205 euros on the minimums

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – After four days of no-stop negotiation between Fim-Fiom-Uilm and Federmeccanica-Assistal, was signed this afternoon, at the headquarters of Confindustria in Rome, the National Collective Labour Contract with a wage increase on the minimum contractual of 205 euros at the average level (C3) in four years.

“It was fundamental to safeguard and confirm the structure of the economic part of the contract. Guarantee of adjustment to Ipca-nei, additional wage share, safeguard clause in the event that inflation should have peaks in the years of GCC vigence – they explain in a joint note Fim Cisl, Fiom Cgil and Uilm Uil –. This system is what will really guarantee the defense of wages from inflationary erosion. Reaching other important objectives in the Fim-Fiom-Uilm contractual platform, such as the start of a trial on the reduction of working time that will be entrusted to a specific commission on the subject. With regard to the other issues, a very important result, and in contrast to the legislation of the last decades and the last contractual renewals, is the contrast to precariousness with a guaranteed percentage of stabilization of workers and temporary workers linked to the causal ones in order to extend contracts lasting 12 months”.

“Extremely important is also the right for leasing staff lasting 48 months to be stabilized indefinitely at the company object of the mission – the unions emphasize –. With the new contract, important advances are made to regulate the labour market with the introduction of the right to stabilisation for workers administered indefinitely, leasing staff, after 48 months of work, the definition of causalities for contracts at term with a stabilisation rate of 20% as a condition for the use of the same causalities beyond the twelfth month of contract. The newly signed agreement also goes in the direction of strengthening the whole of the legislation on trade union relations, information and participation rights, the subjective right to training, health and safety standards and the contrast to violence against women. Further innovations are represented by the strengthening of the rules on private contracts exchanges, the innovation of the regulation on collective and individual management of the PARs, the improvement of the disease for serious patients and disabled workers. Another important novelty is the hourly reduction for workers in the most disadvantaged shifts and the possibility to use up to three days of PAR without notice in front of unexpected.”.

For the general secretaries of Fim-Fiom-Uilm, Ferdinando Uliano, Michele De Palma and Rocco Palombella, “it was a very disproportionate negotiation, but we managed to overcome the distances and sign a good contract. We have safeguarded the purchasing power of workers and metal workers and strengthened rights and safeguards. The increase in wages, the beginning of a trial on the reduction of working time and the stabilization of precarious working relationships were our cornerstones and we obtained them. Today we can also say that we have saved the CCNL that has never stopped being under attack. The CCNL is the first tool for the protection of workers and workers and this renewal will guarantee them a dignified future, as well as strengthen the same engineering companies that subscribe to it. Italian metal mechanics continue to write the history of the country at a time of serious industrial crises that need immediate and lasting solutions.”.

“The negotiation, particularly articulated and characterized by moments of significant complexity, has ended positively thanks to the sense of responsibility shown by all the parties involved – says Roberto Rossi, President ASSISTAL – who has allowed the achievement of an agreement based on balance and resilience. The agreement on wage adjustment, aimed at compensating for the increase in inflation, also represents a significant result for the business system, as it contributes to preserving its productivity levels. With today’s signature, it opens for companies operating in the fields of installation of plants, energy efficiency services and facility management, a new phase focused on safeguarding competitiveness. The contractual renewal clearly defines the scope of representation of the CCNL and strengthens its scope in the field of public procurement — the sector in which most ASSISTAL companies operate — helping to eliminate improper interpretations and to ensure the protection of workers, safety and quality of the works”.

“Our will has always been clear: sign the Contract, while keeping in mind what is the situation in which we find ourselves, because the renewal of the CCNL must always be contextualized, i.e. decreased in the reality of the moment – comments Simone Bettini, President Federmeccanica – After a long and tight confrontation we found the key to a renewal that respects the two conditions for us unreliable: Competition and Sustainability. We have used all the tools that allow to give better answers to people with sustainable costs for all enterprises, focusing on quality and innovation. The quantitative increase in wage treatment is a confirmation of the guarantee system introduced with the contract of 2016 and the renewal of 2021. Particularly relevant innovations in the field of flexibility, with increase in the share of PAR to collective use and the expansion of the multiweek timetable. Of great importance, finally, the tools useful to increase the well-being of the people of our enterprises”.
