ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Mimit’s action in the management of corporate crisis continues with determination. From the beginning of the legislature to today, active tables have passed from 55 to 37 and workers at risk have reduced from 70,000 to just under 30,000. A result that confirms – emphasizes the Mimit – the effectiveness of the constant activity of analysis, coordination and monitoring of disputes of national relevance.
“The numbers show that the government’s strategy is giving concrete results,” said the Minister of Enterprise and Made in Italy, Adolfo Urso. “We have reduced the number of open crises, reduced the workers involved and strengthened the monitoring of the agreements, because our task does not run out with the signing of an agreement, but continues until its full implementation. A result that confirms the effectiveness of the method adopted by Mimit, founded on the dialogue between the parties and on the search for shared and sustainable solutions, able to transform the crisis into opportunities for relaunch, safeguarding employment, plants and productive capacity,” he added.
At the same time, the monitoring of disputes concluded: the dedicated tables went from 33 to 46. A fact that testifies the ministry’s will to accompany businesses even after the definition of the crisis, verifying the implementation of the agreements and the respect of the commitments assumed. Since the beginning of the year, 16 new agreements have been reached between the parties, which have allowed to safeguard all plants and over 11,000 jobs. The total number of agreements concluded over the last three years rises to 44.
