From 12 to 15 May New York will host the fourth edition of Italy on Madison, an initiative promoted by Italian Trade Agency (ITA) to enhance Italian companies in the United States. Over the years, the event has gradually established itself in the New York calendar of events dedicated to Made in Italy, becoming a meeting space between companies, industry operators and international public.
The goal is to relate Italian business realities and the American market through a format that combines commercial promotion, networking and cultural tale, presenting Made in Italy not only as a product, but as an expression of style, manufacturing and identity.
The project revolves around a presence of over two hundred Italian brands, active in different sectors: from fashion to design, passing through footwear, accessories, eyewear, beauty and food & wine. The idea is to return a transversal image of the Italian production system, between craftsmanship, industrial production, tradition and innovation.
The headquarters will be the ITA Townhouse on Madison Avenue, transformed for the occasion into an exhibition and immersive space built as a trip to Italy. Each room is designed as a different stage: design installations, presentations of fashion collections and moments related to food and wine that mark the visit throughout the day.
In addition to companies, some figures from the Italian creative world also participate. Among these Gilda Bojardi, director of the magazine Interni, and designer Paola Navone, who is entrusted with the creative direction of the initiative.
The calendar includes a series of activities aimed at the public: meetings, masterclasses, demonstrations and tastings build a program designed to promote direct interaction and presentation of products in an experiential context.
In this context, Italy on Madison presents itself as an instrument of economic and cultural promotion, with the aim of strengthening the presence of Italian companies on the US market and, together, consolidate the image of Made in Italy.
