La Farnesina follows the case of a young Italian hospital in Malta

ROMA (TALPRESS) – The Farnesina has been following from last week the case of a 20-year-old Italian citizen admitted to Malta in mandatory health treatment after a crisis. The young man, read in a note from the Farnesina, was working on a platform off the Maltese waters and would have had a psychosis attack that required urgent transport to Malta.

On Saturday, the Italian Embassy at Valletta was contacted by the parents. Thanks to the intervention of the diplomatic office the parents managed to have a contact with the hospital. The structure has indicated the severity of the conditions of the compatriot, why at the moment cannot have direct contact with external persons. The Embassy continues to follow the case carefully and plays an intermediary role with the hospital to facilitate contacts with parents.
