ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Yesterday Italy received from the European Commission the payment of the ninth and penultimate rata of the PNRR, pairs to 12,8 billion euros, following the positive evaluation of 29 April connected to the achievement of the 50 related objectives, divided into 34 targets and 16 milestones, including reforms and strategic investments in order to continue to support the economic and social growth of the Nation. “The payment of the penultimate installment of the PNRR, which leads to 166 billion euros the amount of resources received from Italy, certifies the achievement of the 100×100 of the objectives planned in the established time, i.e. 416 milestones and targets that correspond to more than 85% of the total economic endowment of the Italian Plan and to approximately three quarters of the objectives previewed up to the tenth and last rata. As Mr FoRR rightly pointed out, on the occasion of the recent event on the implementation of the PNRR, the Vice DG ECFIN of the European Commission, Declan Costello, which took the opportunity to thank together with DG Céline Gauer for the ever constructive relationship of institutional collaboration, Italy is today the Nation with the best rate of implementation PNRR of Europe, until it became a virtuous model for the other Member States by overcoming all expectations.
Among the different reforms included in the ninth rata, the implementation of the GOL programme and the fundamental adoption of the final report of the Audit Plan, a strategic tool to consolidate and improve the excellent results achieved in the reduction of the payment delays of the public administrations that today liquidate the suppliers with average times less than 30 days.
The reforms include many investments including: the implementation of the Electronic Health Paper for 85% of basic doctors and the extension of telemedicine services to 300,000 people, as well as the modernization of the technological and digital hospital park for 280 healthcare facilities. Moreover, among the investments of particular importance are reported the reduction of water losses with the districtization of 45.000 networks, the renewal of the fleet of the National Corps of Firefighters with 3.800 new vehicles, the implementation of the GOL program with 3 million beneficiaries reached, 600,000 school formats and the strengthening of 326 Centers for employment, the educational support to 44.000 minors in the Mezzogiorno, the digitization of 70.000 teachers.
Intermediate objectives are added to these regarding some strategic investments foreseen by the last revision of the Plan, including the implementation agreements for the timely activation of the National Network of Connectivity, the Rotative Fund Contracts of Filiera, the Fund for accommodation for university students and the Facility Parco Agri-Solare. Currently the Meloni Government, together with all the institutions and institutions prepared, is working altogether for the achievement of the last objectives provided by the PNRR, connected with the demand for payment of the tenth and last installment, as well as for the effective management of the complex final reporting phase of the Plan.
