ROMA (ITALPRESS) – In August Istat estimates that the seasonal index of production in buildings decreased by 2.9% compared to July. On the average of the quarter of June 2026 – August 2026 production in buildings decreases by 3.2% in comparison with the previous quarter. On a tensile basis, the crude index recorded an increase of 2.3%, while the correct index for calendar effects shows a decline of 2.2% (the calendar working days were 21 against 20 August 2025). In the first eight months of 2026, the crude index increased by 2.3%, while the correct index for calendar effects grew by 1.2%.
