In the Bosco dei Segni, an immersive photographic exhibition of Duccio Ricciardelli

During a walk in the woods of Vallombrosa, near Florence, the photographer Duccio Ricciardelli came across a phrase from the Forest Guard sculpted in wood on the edge of a path. Those few words invite the “pilgrin – wandering” that passes there, to immerse itself in the sacredness and the magical world of the forest, meditating, letting itself be lulled by the hearing and physical sensations of the environment.

Thanks to that phrase Ricciardelli will then immerse himself in a research on the image and black and white, which will lead him to the creation of this large series, created specifically for the space of Via Dei Macci in Florence.

Black and white photography for the author is not simply a documentation of reality, but above all a tool of immersion in his dreams and the folds of the most hidden thought. Places, spaces, different stories and temporalities mix to create a flow of imagination and new sap.

The exhibition in Via dei Macci will be immersive, the viewer will be accompanied by a sound and audio landscape that will bring it back to those places of the initial walk.

The exhibition is open at the following times:

Martedì e sabato, 10 – 13
mercoledì, giovedì, venerdì, 16 – 19
domenica, 17 – 19,30
