PALERMO (ITALPRESS) – A meeting point between training and work, a springboard for students towards scenarios that will be faced daily at an occupational level: at the University of Palermo, in the department of Economics, business and statistics of Viale delle Scienze (building 19), the ninth edition of the Laboratory on the drafting of a Business Plan, organized by the University in collaboration with UniCredit. Some twenty students took part in the event, all belonging to the Master’s Degree in Economics- business.
“We believe that university education must necessarily be guided by those who, together with us, work in the daily newspaper with topics that we face on the theoretical level and need a landing, through exercises and concrete laboratories, in which the world of work guides our students in the acquisition of the necessary skills that they will then spend at an occupational level,” says Marcantonio Ruisi, director of the department of Economics, business and statistics. For a long time, he adds, “we have imagined a workshop on the Business Plan: our boys prepare business feasibility plans and their presentations, then together with UniCredit we verify the goodness of the projects. The projects have already been forwarded to the attention of the UniCredit staff and evaluated: today is the time of return and return in which the boys, through Role Playing, will present their projects and will receive from the staff suggestions, contributions and constructive criticism”. The goal, Ruisi concludes, is to “make our students as much as possible Reddit Market for the world of work: these are the most sought-after skills, i.e. design, fundraising possibilities, financing lines; today all this is useful not only for those who want to launch an entrepreneurial idea, but for those within companies will go to work within the scope of the fundraiser to support the projects of the Pmi”.
Vincenzo Evola, Head of Territorial Development of UniCredit Sicilia, points out that “the goal we put is to assist companies since their birth, thus providing skills to students as well. We do this in a variety of ways: one of the most important is our Banking Academy, which through our volunteers of competence is training on the territory. Today we are here to stimulate and increase the skills of our students: we will do it both by evaluating the entrepreneurial ideas of the students who will present the laboratory and by giving a lesson on access to credit, to show how the bank looks at business ideas.”.
