ROMA (ITALPRESS) – In November 2025, the consumer opinion climate is estimated to worsen (from 97.6 to 95.0) while the composite indicator of the climate of trust of enterprises records an increase from 94.4 to 96.1. Istat detects it.
Among consumers, there is a widespread deterioration of opinions, more marked on the future situation: the economic climate drops from 99.3 to 96.5, the personal climate drops from 97.0 to 94.5, the current climate goes from 100.2 to 98.6 and the future climate decreases from 94.1 to 90.2. With reference to enterprises, the confidence index increases in market services (from 95.1 to 97.7) and retail (from 105.2 to 107.3).
The climate also grows in the manufacturing industry (from 88.4 to 89.6) while it falls into constructions from 103.2 to 102.6. As for the components of trust indices, in industry all components record a positive dynamic, while in construction the entrepreneurs judge the level of orders and/or construction plans worsening compared to last month but preview an increase in employment at the company.
With reference to market services, opinions on activity and order level are marked by improvement even if the expectations on orders are decreasing. In retail trade they definitely improve sales judgments while their expectations are down and stocks are judged in accumulation.
According to the evaluations given by the entrepreneurs of the manufacturing sector on the dynamics of investment expenditure, a positive evolution of the level of investments emerges, compared to the previous year, both in 2025 and in 2026.
