MILAN (ITALPRESS) – Daikin Air Conditioning Italy announces the appointment of Hiroshi Shimada as its new CEO and President. “To enter this new phase at the head of Daikin Italia means, first of all, to value the extraordinary work done so far by the company and its people – says Hiroshi Shimada, CEO and President Daikin Italy –. My goal is to give continuity to what is built, but also to impress a further boost to those changes that can make us even more agile, innovative and close to the market. Creating more and more opportunities for internal growth, the development of new responsibilities and the circulation of ideas, is essential because people are able to make every transformation possible. On the strategic level, we want to strengthen our position in conditioning and accelerate with decision on heating, integrated solutions and high-value services, with constant attention to energy efficiency and environmental sustainability. In parallel – he concludes – digital transformation will be a fundamental axis: not only as a technological lever, but as a new way to work, collaborate and relate to customers and partners, to make Daikin Italy an even more recognizable point of reference in the sector”.
