BAGHDAD (IRAQ) (ITALPRESS) – The president of the GKSD group, Kamel Ghribi, met in Baghdad, together with a delegation of consultants and experts, the president of the National Commission for Iraqi Investments, the engineer Adel al-Yasiri. At the heart of the interview, the prospects for strengthening the collaboration between Italy and Iraq and how to attract Italian investors in different sectors, in line with the needs and priorities of development of the country. Ghribi reiterated the commitment of the GKSD Group to continue its investments in Iraq, particularly in the health sector. Prioritary is the project of the Italian hospital (HHH), in construction on the area of the former Turkish restaurant. The initiative aims to transfer and employ Italian administrative, engineering and medical skills, develop rare specializations and offer advanced healthcare services for complex cases.
The importance of continuing the training and qualification of Iraqi medical, technical and administrative personnel employed in the structure has also been stressed, as well as strengthening partnerships with different medical universities in Baghdad, in order to build sustainable local capacities and raise the quality of health services. The meeting confirms the desire of the GKSD group to maintain and expand its investor presence in Iraq, contributing to the economic development of the country in strategic sectors.
