Generali, profit growing to 2,5 billion in the first half

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Generali closed the first half of 2026 with a net profit normalized to 2,5 billion, in significant increase of 13.7%, “supported by the excellent performance of the Group”. That’s what you read in a note. The prizes are growing to 53.4 billion (+5.8%), driven both from the Danni segment (+6.3%) and from the Vita segment (+5.5%). The net collection Vita closes to 8.3 billion. The Group recorded an excellent growth of the operating result at 4.5 billion (+11.2%), thanks to all business segments. The Asset & Wealth Management operating result is also growing (+31.3%) thanks to the positive trend of both businesses. “The excellent results of the Group demonstrate the excellent progress of our ‘Lifetime Partner 27: Driving Excellence’ plan, thanks to the very solid performance of all segments. In the insurance business, Vita and Danni continue in the solid trajectory of development of operating result and technical profitability, despite a greater impact of natural disasters. Our Asset Management platform continues to expand the portfolio of third-party customers, while Banca Generali once again confirms the success of its business model,” said Generali Group CEO, Philippe Donnet.
