ROMA (ITALPRESS) – “If the intervention of Eni and Ip will have significant consequences in calming the prices of fuels, we will only do targeted interventions, as on the road haulage”. The Minister of Enterprises and Made in Italy Adolfo Urso says this in an interview with the National Newspapers, underlining that the government is “however ready to face other emergencies”, including a possible block of oil exports from the United States to the EU.
On the front of the refineries, Urso explains that the government aims to “enhancing production in our country, speeding up on the road of biorefineries, on which we are already leader in Europe, and sharing with companies a draft revision of European standards to make the refining in Europe sustainable over time, absolutely necessary for our strategic autonomy”.
As for the dear energy, the minister announces new measures in the decree enterprises to “accelerate the authorizations on the projects still blocked by the Regions” and interventions in support of accumulations and batteries. “We are fighting in Europe for the single energy market to be realized and reformed in an organic and structural way the infernal mechanism of the ETS, which mainly weighs on the Italian system,” he adds.
