ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Economic themes, trade union, safety at work, bargaining and, as a conductor, artificial intelligence will be at the center of the XIX National Congress of Uil, which will take place from 2 to 4 July at the Fiera di Padova and will see the participation of the President of the Council, Giorgia Meloni. The program, presented by the Secretary-General, PierPaolo Bombardieri, which is headed by the union, and by the organizational secretary, Emanuele Ronzoni, will see a audience of about 3,000 delegates and entitled, more than 1,000 guests and the presence, among others, of the ministra del Lavoro, Marina Calderone, of the General Secretariat of Cisl, Daniela Fumarola; of the Secretary-General of the Cgil, Maurizio Landini Region; The congress “sees an important organizational effort, we will talk about the issues of economics and union but we made the choice, two years ago, to address in depth the theme of Artificial Intelligence”, says the Secretary General, PierPaolo Bombardieri.
“We will have the participation of an academic and research area of the first group. We are convinced that the union must be the protagonist of this transformation process. During the congress we will illustrate two features on which we worked, we will make a round table because we have built a scientific committee. We will present a very concrete and unitary document with Cgil and Cisl to understand how to deal together with this great transformation in the context of bargaining, in that of training, safety at work where artificial intelligence can give us hypotheses – adds Bombardieri -. This is a unitary document that does not rewrite the country’s industrial relations, moreover, Cgil, Cisl and Uil say: we are ready to measure ourselves. Then there is the theme of the themes: how the world of the factory changes, how productivity changes and how it is distributed. Our request is that increased productivity should be redistributed by reducing working hours at equal wages. We want to expand a debate on how the development of artificial intelligence can be put in the ideal condition of being really useful for people.”.
From the premier’s speech “we expect the continuation of the discussion on the topics covered, for us the work and recovery of the loss of purchasing power are the priority”, says Bombardieri. Among the guests of the three days of Padua also Gino Cecchettin, father of Giulia, the young man killed in November 2023 by the former boyfriend. Not only economic themes, therefore, “we will launch a campaign against feminism, with good peace of those who say that the murders are all the same”, concludes Bombardieri.
