After Naples and New York, on 6 November the Roman stage of the Health Campus was inaugurated in Piazza del Popolo, which will continue until Saturday 8 November. A beautiful village of prevention, with control visits, specialists, free of charge, to develop the culture of prevention and help everyone to be aware of how important it is to take care of themselves.
An initiative organized by the APS-ETS ‘Campus Salute’ chaired by Pasquale Riccio and founded by Professor Annamaria Colao. A reality that puts together in addition to medicine, prevention, civic commitment and volunteering. An organized network made by doctors, healthcare personnel, students and many young volunteers together to promote early health and diagnosis.
There are 20 outpatients where citizens can make free visits and controls, including endocrinology, cardiology, gynecology, andrology, urology, neurology, nephrology and vascular surgery. Mammographs for breast cancer screening may also be performed, receive the kit for rectum cancer test or carry out controls for the papilloma virus. Doctors will also be active for insights.
