ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Poste records record revenues in the first nine months of 2025 pairs to 9,6 billion, in increase of 4% year on year (3,2 billion in the third trimester, +4% year on year), thanks to the contribution of all divisions of business. Poste Italiane in a note on the financial results of the third quarter and the first nine months of 2025. Net profit is 1.8 billion, up 11% year on year (603 million in the third quarter, +6,1% year on year.
In the first 9 months Poste records profit at record levels, with the adjusted operating result (ebit) that stands at 2,5 billion euros in the first nine months of 2025, in increase of 10% year on year (856 million euros in the third trimester, +85% year on year), and the net profit pairs to 1,8 billion euros, in increase of 11% year on year (603 million euros in the third trimester, +6,1% year on year). These are the results of the first nine months best from the stock exchange listing: revenues, operating result (ebit) adjusted and profit clearly to the historical maximum. “After five consecutive quarters with a performance at record levels, we have again achieved extraordinary results, with revenues in the first nine months equal to 9,6 billion, in increase of 4% on an annual basis, and an adjusted operating result (EBIT) in increase of 10%, to 2,5 billion. The solidity of the results achieved confirms once again our ability to generate sustainable and profitable growth in all business segments, thanks to a solid commercial execution and effective cost management”. Matteo Del Fante, CEO of Poste Italiane. “We confirm, therefore – adds – full confidence in achieving the updated guidance for the entire exercise 2025, which provides an adjusted Operating Result (EBIT) of 3.2 billion and a net profit of 2.2 billion. The increase in revenues in the sector Correspondence, Packages and Distribution was driven by the increase in parcel volumes and supported by a greater diversification of the customer base, with revenues exceeding 2.8 billion in the first nine months. Financial Services recorded an increase in revenues from third parties of 5% year on year, reaching 4.2 billion in the first nine months, supported by a consistent performance of the investment portfolio and a solid commercial performance. The Insurance Services have recorded a solid profitability both in the insurance sector Investments and Security that in the business of the Protection, with revenues growing 10% in the first nine months, that are at 1.4 billion”.
“The Postepay Services – continues – confirm their ability to generate a sustainable growth of revenues and a solid acceleration of profitability, with revenues growing by 5% to 1,2 billion and the Operating Result (EBIT) adjusted in increase of 9% to 416 million in the first nine months, supported by the increase of the transat of 9.3% and the increase of the total number of transactions of the ecosystem pairs to 12.8%. The customer base for the retail offer of Poste Energia per luce e gas has reached about 950.000 customers, in line with the achievement of the objective of 1 million customers by the end of the year. I am pleased to announce that the migration of our customers to the Super App has been successfully completed. To date, the Super App is used by 15 million customers, with 4.1 million active users on a daily basis in November 2025, a data exceeding the total number of users of our previous apps considered together. We maintain a solid group budget, with a low level of indebtedness and a Solvency II insurance solvency ratio of 312%, well above our managerial ambitions, which guarantees us considerable financial flexibility. On 26 November we will distribute a deposit on the dividend record of 0,40 per share, equivalent to 518 million total, in increase of 21% regarding last year. We are speeding up initiatives that enhance synergies with TIM. In the first quarter of 2026 Poste Mobile will start migration to TIM’s mobile infrastructure, following the signing of the MVNO contract. Moreover, on September 29 we launched “TIM Energia powered by Poste Italiane” in over 750 TIM stores, with initial results showing a solid and promising commercial trend. We are also actively working on additional cross-selling opportunities and cost optimization initiatives through joint procurement activities. We will communicate developments to the market gradually, as the relevant agreements will be finalized. We have also taken a decisive step towards digital innovation by signing a letter of intent to create a joint venture with TIM Enterprise, dedicated to cloud-based IT services.
