SEOUL (SOUTH KOREA) (ITALPRESS) – With a tribute to the Made in Italy promotion system, the institutional mission in South Korea of the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Lorenzo Fontana began.
This morning Fontana visited, together with the Italian Ambassador Emilia Gatto, the permanent hub of the Italian system and the fair “Sii! Study in Italy” at Palazzetto del Made in Italy – High Street Italy in Seoul. The hub is a showcase for companies, located in a strategic district, which is renewed every six months, with about 120 events per year. Maeci and ICE participate in the project in the context of growth diplomacy.
At the Sii fair, Italian university students meet Koreans to tell and promote their respective universities. Organized by Embassy and Italian Institute of Culture, with the support of Unitalia, the initiative involves over twenty universities and Afam institutes.
“There emerge a great respect for Italian culture, esteem for our excellence and great will of collaboration. Here cultural exchanges and useful initiatives are born to the promotion of our Country – said President Fontana -. Even from an academic point of view, these projects build opportunities for cooperation and study to address together the challenges of the future. The sign that together you can do a lot. This is a significant example of how the system of institutions, working together, enhances the potential of Italy and Made in Italy in the world. Thank you to all those who work and participate in these goals.”.
The mission also previews a summit at the Blue House – official residence of the President of the Republic of Korea – with Hae Min Lee, Senior Secretary for Artificial Intelligence and Planning for the future of the Presidency of the Republic of Korea and the bilateral meeting with the President of the South Korean National Assembly, Cho Jeong-sik, in the seat of the Korean Parliament.
