MILAN (ITALPRESS) – The new Board of Directors of the IEO-MONZINO ETS Foundation has been set up, which will remain in office for the next three years. At the head of the Foundation was reconfirmed President Patrizia Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, at his fourth term, for the three-year period 2026-2027-2028.
The reconfirm of the President testifies to the desire to continue the path of growth and consolidation undertaken by the IEO-MONZINO ETS Foundation in recent years in support of medical-scientific research, clinical innovation and the care of two excellences in Italy in the oncology and cardiovascular, the European Institute of Oncology and the Monzino Cardiological Center.
The Board of Directors reconfirmed Carlo Capasa, Mario Faro, Umberta Gnutti Beretta, Simone Marchetti, Emanuela Schmeidler, Roberto Spada, Warly Tomei and Veronica Zuffi Marzotto, to which are joined the new advisors Ernesto Fùrstenberg Fassio, Massimo Lapucci and Cristina Fogazzi.
The members of the Board of Directors Carlo Buora, Carlo Cimbri and Mauro Melis confirmed.
Also confirmed are the members of the Control Organ, Maurizio Bozzato, Guido Croci, Paolo Redaelli and the Organism of monocratic Vigilance Andrea Gottardo.
Finally, the Scientific Technical Committee, led by the Scientific Directors of IEO, Roberto Orecchia, and the Monzino, Giulio Pompilio: Maurizio Colognesi Capogrossi, Mattia Chiesa, Elena Guerini Rocco, Chiara Molinari, Antonio Passaro, Anna Sapino and Stefano Santaguida.

The Foundation wishes to express its thanks to all the advisors for the availability and commitment they have chosen to provide expertise, relationships and strategic vision at the service of its mission. Since its establishment, the IEO-MONZINO Foundation has raised over 100 million euros in support of Research and Care, funded more than 600 scholarships for researchers and researchers and built a community of over 100,000 active donors.
Results that testify to the trust granted to the Foundation and the value of a philanthropic model able to relate citizens, enterprises and institutions with two of the most important hospital and research realities of the country. With the new Board of Directors, the Foundation renews its commitment to supporting the scientific excellence of the European Institute of Oncology and the Monzino Cardiological Center, contributing to the development of new knowledge, therapies and opportunities for care for patients today and tomorrow.
