Eni, ceded 20% of Plenitude to funds Ares Alternative Credit. Goberti “Next in the path of growth”

MILAN (ITALPRESS) – Following the approval of the operation by the competent authorities, Eni has announced the completion of the sale of a participation equal to 20% of the share capital of Plenitude Società Benefit to the funds Ares Alternative Credit, affiliated to Ares Management Corporation. With this transaction, based on a Plenitude equity value of 10 billion and an enterprise value of more than 12 billion, Eni cashed 2 billion. The operation – read in a note – is an integral part of the Eni strategy aimed at enhancing its satellite companies active in energy transition business, through the entry of strategic partners and aligned capitals that support their development plans.
