ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Training and new opportunities in South Italy for sustainable and inclusive growth are at the heart of the vision of Enav, the company that manages civil air traffic in Italy, which met in Rome representatives of the institutional and financial world, investors, sustainability experts and stakeholders to analyze the evolution of the European regulatory framework and the new challenges for companies and markets.
“In a phase like this, close between regulations in the process of settlement, economic priorities that change and a public debate that calls for concrete results, the difference emerges between those who consider sustainability a formal fulfillment and those who live it as a structural element of their industrial strategy. Sustainability is an integral part of the Enav Group and represents our way of creating value,” said Enav President Alessandra Bruni.
The Ad of Enav Pasqualino Monti focused attention on the centrality of the person in the path of growth of Enav, recalling the important plan of recruitment of more than 400 flight controllers in the coming years and the strategic project that Enav is carrying out in South Italy, aimed at creating new professional opportunities for young people and strengthening the presence of the Group in the southern territories. “Being a highly specialized service company, people are our true asset. We have started an important recruitment plan, with a focus on generational replacement and the attraction of new talents, because innovation and growth go from professionalism and continuing training. In our sector, technology is a human aid, not a replacement. Innovation, if governed well, does not replace work: it evolves”, he explained.
The Enav project provides agreements with the main universities of the Mezzogiorno, including Palermo and Naples. Enav is contributing to the development of highly specialized and consistent training paths with its operational and technological needs. Thanks to this project the first recruitment of young people who can work without having to move. The goal is clear: to offer young people in the South concrete professional opportunities without forcing them to leave their territory, enhancing local excellence.
