MILANO (ITALPRESS) – From January 2026 Carlo Piemonte, with a twenty-year career at the service of the wood-furniture sector and the national forest chains, will assume the role of General Manager of FederlegnoArredo, becoming, at 44 years, the youngest general director in the history of the Federation. To give news to the associates was the president of FederlegnoArredo Claudio Feltrin, during the year-end assembly, which took place today at the Triennale di Milano.
“The choice of Carlo Piemonte, shared with the FLA Presidency Council, is an important step for the future of our Federation,” said Feltrin. “His deep knowledge of the different industries, the ability to work closely with both companies and with regional, national and European institutions, will be a fundamental added value for all our associates and for our production system. To him – concludes Feltrin – my thanks go for accepting a complex and challenging challenge at the same time, which will be able to deal with the collaboration and know-how of the structure of the Federation”.
“It is an honor and emotion to assume this task – says Carlo Piemonte –. I thank President Feltrin and the Presidency Council for the trust shown, the institutions and friends of the Cluster of Friuli Venezia Giulia with whom I shared an exciting twenty-year course, based on the dialogue and the strength of the projects to be implemented in favour of the sector. From January, I will be at the disposal of the whole FederlegnoArredo system and its 11 associations, making listening, comparing and developing the territories the firm points of the role entrusted to me, with the aim of further consolidating the role of the Federation, as a reference for the Italian system of wood-furnishing, strengthening in the first place the link with the world of industry, as well as the dialogue with other system associations. Objectives – he adds – will go hand in hand to the presidium of the themes linked to the forests and their responsible management in a profitable and proactive interlocution with the competent ministry, thanks also to the precious role of the National Cluster Italy wood forest”.
