Campus Salute has arrived in Los Angeles, following its previous stops in New York and Detroit, further strengthening in the United States the Italian initiative dedicated to promoting a culture of prevention and healthy lifestyles. The program took place through informational meetings and diagnostic screenings, with the goal of sharing the know-how of Italian healthcare professionals in the U.S. while raising greater awareness around health and prevention.
The project is promoted by Campus Salute, led by its president Pasquale Antonio Riccio, in collaboration with LILAA and ilNewyorkese, with the involvement of local partners and organizations active in the social sector. “Bringing Campus Salute to Los Angeles represents an important step in the internationalization of our initiative. We strongly believe in the need to promote a culture of prevention and to strengthen ties with Italian communities abroad, creating opportunities for dialogue and collaboration,” said president Pasquale Antonio Riccio.
Marcello Lala, head of external relations for Progetto Alfa, also traveled from Italy for the initiative. With this new stop in the United States, Campus Salute continues to promote the Italian model of prevention as a tool for civic participation and international cooperation.
