GENOVA (ITALPRESS) – Liguria Together “will be independent of individual figures and a movement of people, so that I will not participate”. Marco Bucci, president of the Liguria Region, said this in the margin of the first convention of the civic movement he launched. “The undersigned will not be part of the movement, but will be done, even from the rear, to help those who will take the lead of the movement and will go ahead, probably also running for the next municipal, provincial or regional elections”, added Bucci explaining that Liguria Together is “an aggregation of people who do not feel to enroll in the parties, but want the same collaborate to the development and construction of a vision that is able to improve the quality of life. The parties serve, they are indispensable, but they require to take care of a part. The civic movement, however, wants to take care of everyone, regardless of political ideas and ideologies. In these nine-ten years there are many civic lists, all with aligned positions. We have therefore thought that it is appropriate to join all under one movement, because union makes strength.” Bucci has confirmed that the symbol will be present at the next administrative elections in Liguria, while the council groups at the moment will remain those of the original civic lists: “Not now, because they have been elected with another name and it is not good to change them, but from the next elections they will be called this way.”.
“It could be” that some members of the Liguria Civic Movement Together run for the next political elections: “I would be very happy, because having people who go to do increasingly important activities, even at national level, is a pride for us.”.
“I spent my first healthy year, despite having wished to die, and in a few days we celebrate the second year. Let’s go year by year and see what happens,” he concluded in response to a question on the hypothesis of redeployment in the next elections in Liguria.
