“Italy and Norway are two countries that cooperate very strongly. For us Norway is a leading partner” and “we are working to extend our collaboration to other sectors where we can set up skills, technologies, reciprocal investments, creating new opportunities for our enterprises and for our economies and this is the direction we want to work in”, he concludes.
“Italy and Norway will work and continue to work to strengthen the resilience of the Ukrainian people, supporting a negotiating perspective for a peace that must be just and lasting until this is necessary.”.
STORE “MOLTE POTENZIALI PARTNERSHIP TRA ITALIA E NORVEGIA”
Norway and Italy have “many potential partnerships” to develop together. The Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store declared this at the press conference in Oslo with the President of the Council, Giorgia Meloni. “We are allies in NATO, we have 120 years of diplomatic relations,” the Norwegian prime minister recalled.
“Trades are important and have grown considerable. Norway gives Italy 10% of the gas it uses and we tend to remain a stable energy supplier.” Store has also observed that “in recent years our relations have become stronger and stronger, we meet within NATO, we meet when we face the challenges that concern Ukraine and we also meet in the European political community.”.
