Bankitalia, in the third quarter in increase the sales prices of housing

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – In the third trimester, according to the data of the Bank of Italy, the evaluations on the sale prices of housing have strengthened in much of the national territory, with a more marked increase in urban areas of the Northeast. The discount margins were reduced and the average sales time remained on the historical minimum. The share of agencies that have concluded at least one sale has remained on high values for the summer quarter. The question shows recovery signs: the negative balance between ratings of increase and decrease of potential buyers has diminished. The offer of real estate continues to decline, with new assignments to sell in further decline. The difficulties of access to real estate credit are placed on very low levels.

In a context of favourable credit conditions, the share of mortgage-funded sales and the ratio between loan and property value has reached the highest values since mid-2022. There are significant pressures on rent fees, on which the phenomenon of short rentals affects. Overall, the prospects for the real estate market for the fourth quarter of the year remain favourable.
