Bank of Fucino, meetings in schools for the month of financial education

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Banca del Fucino renews its commitment to accompany young people towards greater knowledge of the issues of finance, savings and economic citizenship by joining the ninth edition of the Financial Education Month, the initiative promoted by the Committee for the programming and coordination of financial education activities (Edufin) scheduled from 1 to 30 November with the theme “Financial Education: today for yours”. During the month of November, we read in a note, the Bank will propose to students a program of educational appointments developed together with FEduF – Foundation for Financial Education and the Saving of ABI, which is divided into two established routes. “Bancari for a day”, dedicated to the pupils of classes IV and V of the primary school, accompanies the youngest to discover the value of money and its conscious management through an interactive experience, with the employees of the Bank who carry their professionalism and daily work. “We open the planet”, aimed at students of secondary schools of the first degree and realized in collaboration with the Marevivo Foundation, instead, alongside the contents of financial education the themes of sustainability and protection of marine ecosystems.
The calendar currently includes five meetings, including three for “Bancari for one day”, on 11, 18 and 25 November at the Pescara branch of Banca del Fucino with the students of the I.C. Don Milani di Lanciano (CH), and two for “Let’s open the planet”, on 12 and 17 November at the I.C. Radice Ovidio of Sulmona (AQ), for a total of over 300 students involved. The accession to the Month of Financial Education is part of the broader social responsibility of Banca del Fucino and reflects its vocation as a bank of the territory, which for over a century has been a concrete commitment to the communities in which it operates. “Financial education is one of the most concrete tools through which a bank can be close to its communities: it means putting people, and in particular the younger ones, in the conditions of making conscious choices today to build their own future. Participating in Edufin’s initiative by bringing our projects to schools is the most natural way of interpreting our identity as a local bank”, says Francesco Maiolini, CEO of Banca del Fucino.
