MILAN (ITALPRESS) – Banca Generali made a net collection of 649 million in November, up 27% compared to the same period of the previous year. The result confirms the ongoing acceleration that brought the total collection to more than 6.2 billion, up +10% on an annual basis. On the composition of the collection, November highlighted a strong demand for home funds (176 million in the month), supported by the excellent reception of the new strategies launched by Sicav LUX IM at the end of September, and financial containers (57 million in the month). Since the beginning of the year, household products (funds and financial containers) have collected 2.5 billion over the period (+19% a/a), representing 78% of the entire assets under investments at the end of November.
On the contrary, third-party funds showed a slight decline with defluxes of 34 million in the month and defluxes of 157 million from the beginning of the year. In the month there were also differences in advisory flows evolved in AUC and banking (98 million in the month, 367 million from the beginning of the year) which partially counterbalanced defluxes from traditional policies for 96 million that still remain largely positive with 437 million from the beginning of the year. The flows confluted in the other assets were 393 million in November (3.1 billion from the beginning of the year) driven in particular by 357 million liquidity, net of exits for the tax deadlines of 166 million in the month (1.1bn from the beginning of the year, +12% a/a.
“After a figure of October characterized by the inclusion of top bankers both on the Italian and Swiss market, November is characterized by a very strong collection of the existing structure and a total level of period flows sharply growing compared to the previous year. The internal climate is very positive, supported by the coming less of the uncertainties of the Ops and the many projects in progress. In short, the new offer to protect capital and the normalization of the context guarantee growth and quality of the collection.” Thus the Ad and Director General of Banca Generali, Gian Maria Mossa, commenting on the data on the November collection.
“In the medium-long term – adds – Intermonte, Alleanza and AI expand the customer basin, the effectiveness of our bankers and project us towards a new paradigm of growth. We are confident to positively close the year and, even more, to have started initiatives that will accompany us with enthusiasm and determination towards our neighbour. Never as today there are the conditions to conquer market shares in different segments, thanks to the strength of our people and our brand,” concludes Mossa.
