MILANO (ITALPRESS) – Asal Assoallestimenti, the association that brings together Italian companies active in the exhibition, exhibitions, exhibition spaces and events sector, celebrated its 50th anniversary with an event hosted at the Triennale di Milano. The president of FederlegnoArredo, Claudio Feltrin, underlined the central role of Asal within the Federation, highlighting how the ability to create quality temporary architectures contributes decisively to the story and visibility of the exhibiting companies in the main exhibitions in Italy and abroad. In the course of the event it has been reiterated how the theme of sustainability represents today a strategic priority for the wood-furniture chain and for the exhibition sector. The focus on the project was indicated as the main lever to ensure less impact. During the day were awarded the awards dedicated to the protagonists who contributed to the development of the association and the sector in these fifty years: Aryan equipment; Allestimenti Benfenati; Artes Group International; Arved Sistemi Modulari; Barberini Allestimenti; Casasola; Fogarolo Allestimenti; Fraco Snc by Giancarlo Bergamasco and C.; FTR Allestimenti; Heron International; The Gamba Form; Interfiere; Jolli Alestimenti; O.P.R.; Plotini Alestimenti; Precious Leonardo; Project; Stipa; Way; Xilografia Nuova.
A special recognition was given to Pierpaolo Vaj, for the decisive role played in the foundation of the association. The day of celebration also marked a passage of deliveries to the guide of the association, with Marco Fogarolo appointed new president of Asa Assoallestimenti of FederlegnoArredo. “We are experiencing a moment of profound transformation of the market of the installations. If, on the one hand, I am honored with the trust placed in me by my colleagues who have chosen me as a new president, on the other I feel all the responsibility to lead the association in this important and delicate phase of change,” Fogarolo said. “The idea is to continue working in the tracked line of my predecessor, with which I have always collaborated in a very positive way and that I thank for his work, but at the same time trying to immediately grasp all the needs of the associated companies in order to cope with the changes, in order to strengthen the role of the association as a reference point for the entire supply chain,” he added.
