Art is the universal language of the soul, an invisible thread able to cancel every distance. With this spirit is born “Italy Calls the World”, a review curated by Francesca Callipari (Art Curator and Art Advisor) that transforms the Fridman Gallery into a crossroads of visions and identity. In a fragmented era, the Bel Paese — the historical cradle of beauty — calls to itself the talents of the international scene to build a choral story, transforming the exhibition into a powerful message of union and brotherhood.
Located at 169 Bowery, the Fridman Gallery is within walking distance of the New Museum of Contemporary Art. The exhibition takes place at a crucial time. The expansion of the museum, characterized by double-height galleries and innovative spaces for performance, has raised the space of cultural debate on the Lower East Side, making the district a global stage of visibility for independent artists and new narratives.
In this context, the exhibition is not only an exhibition, but an act of strategic positioning: here the works dialogue with a qualified audience, entering into a world-wide aesthetic conversation.
The event will be enriched by the FEED YOUR SOUL project, dedicated to Poetry, which offers a unique experience of spiritual nourishment. Poetry is not understood here as an object to possess, but as a living matter: the works of selected poets are printed in series and distributed free of charge to visitors, transforming reading into an essential gesture of sharing and generosity within the galleristic ecosystem.
Every selected work, from painting to Poetry, thus represents a dowel of a larger mosaic. As pointed out by the curator, it is a mapping of today’s creativity that testifies how beauty remains the only force capable of generating a sense of global community.
