These are the words of Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani in an interview with “The Messenger”, about the mid-term elections in the United States. “They are our main allies – he continued – we are and remain in excellent relations with the United States. We were when Bush ruled, we were when Clinton, Obama, Biden were at the White House. The same positive interlocution was with Trump.”.
For Tajani “being allied does not mean being submissive. I am not Maga and I will never be. The indissoluble relationship is with the U.S. and not with an administration or another.” On the war in Iran the message of TGajani clear: “The weapons are silent. It must be guaranteed as soon as possible, the free navigation in the Strait of Hormuz because until then “the world economy will continue to suffer. Including the Italian one.” As regards internal matters and the financial maneuver says: “We are trying to help the middle class, young people, the elderly. And we will do everything to improve the law, intervening on pensions and school.”.
