WASHINGTON (UNITED STATES) (ITALPRESS) – Strengthening transatlantic collaboration in the field of technological innovation and supporting investments in artificial intelligence, while expanding the opportunities for Italian companies on international markets. These are the priorities indicated by Michele Pignotti, managing director of SACE, intervened on the margin of an event dedicated to cooperation between Italy and the United States.
“We are very happy to participate in this event that aims to develop transatlantic collaboration with focus on technological innovation,” said Pignotti, underlining the role of financial instruments in support of the major investments needed for the development of artificial intelligence and new technologies.
“ SACE has many innovative tools to help finance all these major investments necessary for the development of artificial intelligence and new technologies,” explained, highlighting the potential of a collaboration between public and private Italian and American financial institutions.
Another strategic axis concerns the diversification of the target markets of Italian exports, with particular attention to Africa and the countries involved in the Mattei Plan. “Until now we have ensured in the last two years since the start of the Mattei Plan five billion new projects that allow participation to Italian companies,” said Pignotti.
As part of SACE’s strategies, there are also new initiatives to promote export development and support national production chains through private capital involvement.
“Beyond this we are working on other strategic directives to make private capital flow directly to Italian production chains,” he concluded.
