Confirm the appointments of the new CEOs of Allianz Partners and Allianz Direct

MILANO (ITALPRESS) – The Allianz Group announces the appointment of the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Allianz Partners and Allianz Direct, ensuring continuity and momentum for growth as a result of the appointment of Tomas Kunzmann as a member of the Board of Management of Allianz SE. Appointments reflect Allianz’s strong internal leadership heritage and strengthen its leading position in fast-growing and customer-centered digital business models, which integrate solutions in automotive, home, travel, care and health sectors.

Appointments, all subject to regulatory approval, have been planned and scheduled to ensure seamless delivery. Philipp Kroetz, currently Chief Executive Officer of Allianz Direct, will take over as Chief Executive Officer of Allianz Partners from 1 November 2026. He has led Allianz Direct since 2022, transforming the company into a profitable expansion European digital platform for damage insurance (P&C – Property and Casualty), serving over 3.2 million customers.

Laurent Floquet, currently Chief Operating Officer of Allianz Partners, will succeed Philipp Kroetz as Chief Executive Officer of Allianz Direct, bringing in his new role a deep expertise in the mobility sector and customer-oriented solutions. He will assume his new assignment on 1 November 2026. Laurent Floquet’s successor will be announced soon.
