ROMA (ITALPRESS) – In relation to the Golden Power Procedure initiated by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers following the notification by Pirelli, together with ABET HTS, it is known that “the two companies received notice of the measure, approved on 24 September 2026, with which the Council of Ministers exercised special powers”. This is what we read in a note, in which we remember that the subject of the notification “was also the agreement for the joint development of technologies aimed at the realization of terrestrial electric vehicles with remote guidance to employ as means of aid in particularly rough and extreme surfaces, communicated last 5 August”.
“The DPCM has considered that strategic importance for the defence system, the activity carried out in the defence sector both by Pirelli and ABET HTS, as well as the Cosviluppo Agreement. With a criterion of maximum precaution and protection of the essential interests of defence and national security, the DPCM has laid down technical-organization requirements for Pirelli and ABET HTS, in order to safeguard industrial property rights, know-how, products and related strategic importance data for the defence and national security system and to ensure continuity and standard of all research and development activities of Pirelli and ABET. Pirelli and ABET HTS “please take note of the decision adopted by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers”, concludes the note.
