Campus Salute returns to New York with three days dedicated to prevention, on 8, on 9 and 11 October 2026, at the Italian School Guglielmo Marconi, on 12 East 96th Street. The program includes three days dedicated to prevention, with meetings for students and parents, nutritional screening and specialized visits upon reservation. The first two days will be addressed especially to children and their families; on Sunday it will be possible to book visits in different areas, from endocrinology to dentistry.
It begins on Thursday 8 October with a meeting with Pasquale Muggione on diet, nutrition and prevention. The conference will be addressed to students between 12 and 16 years. During the morning nutritional screenings will also take place through the impedenziometry, for which the booking and release of parents will be necessary. In the afternoon the program will continue with a session dedicated to parents, who can participate in a meeting and access consults.
On Friday, October 9, Professor Annamaria Colao will meet the students to talk about hormones and their role in the different stages of life. In the course of the day, both in the morning and in the afternoon, there will also be endocrineological consultations for children and parents.
On Sunday, October 11, the activities will take place from 9:30 to 17:30, with specialist visits exclusively by reservation. The planned areas include urology, with possibility of ecological examinations, dentistry, endocrinology and nutrition.
The closing of the campus is scheduled on Sunday at 19, with a conference accompanied by an aperitif.
Campus Salute is an association founded in 2010 to promote prevention and reduce inequalities in access to health. Among his founders is the endocrinologa Annamaria Colao. The association brings specialist visits, screenings and information meetings outside the hospitals, setting temporary outpatients in the squares and other public spaces, in Italy and abroad. Since July, Campus Salute has joined Italia America Reputation Lab, the non-profit organization based in New York.
The visits are accompanied by educational activities, even in schools, to explain the role of prevention and daily habits in health protection. Since 2019 Campus Salute is one of the founding partners of the UNESCO Chair of the Federico II University of Naples dedicated to education for health and sustainable development. In 2021 he obtained special advisory status at the United Nations Economic and Social Council, which allows it to contribute to the work of the body.
