ROMA (ITALPRESS) – The Vice-President of the Council and Minister of Infrastructures and Transport, Matteo Salvini, met in Belgrade the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic. Also present are the Italian Ambassador to Belgrade Luca Gori and the Serbian Minister for Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, Aleksandra Sofronijevic. Salvini is located in Serbia for an institutional visit until tomorrow. The aim is to strengthen cooperation between Italy and Serbia, with particular attention to infrastructure, transport and economic development. At the heart of the interview, the strengthening of cooperation between Italy and Serbia, starting from the infrastructure and transport sectors, with particular attention to the Corridor Trieste-Be Despite and other infrastructure projects that create opportunities for collaboration between the two countries. During the meeting, the theme of the enlargement of the European Union was also addressed, confirming Serbia’s strategic importance for the stability and development of the region.
