In Tunis strong participation in the Forum economic and commercial Italy-Tunisia with Tajani

TUNISI (TUNISIA) (ITALPRESS) – Today the Italian-Tunisino economic and commercial forum started in Tunis, at 14:30 (local time), with a wide participation of institutional, entrepreneurial and media representatives both Tunisian and Italian, as well as journalists of the international and local press. The work will continue until 20:30 and include plenary sessions and B2B meetings between economic operators in the two countries, with the aim of strengthening bilateral partnership and promoting new investment opportunities. To inaugurate the work is the vice-premier and Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani, who arrived in Tunis as part of an official visit dedicated to the consolidation of economic relations between Italy and Tunisia, with particular attention to the energy, renewables, industry and logistics sectors. The event takes place under a security device strengthened by the Tunisian security units, present in a visible way near the forum headquarters, guaranteeing the smooth running of the works.

Before the official start, a brief reception session of delegations was held, in a defined climate positive and marked by cooperation between the two shores of the Mediterranean. The forum is part of the strengthening of the strategic partnership between Rome and Tunis. Tunisia is one of the main economic partners of Italy in Africa, with an exchange that in 2025 reached 6.5 billion euros and over 1,000 Italian companies present in the country.
