FIMAA-Fiaip-ANAMA, ok from Mimit to practicable and openness to reform law 39/89

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – The National Interassociative Consulta of the Real Estate Intermediation, composed of the only three really representative federations of the category, FIMAA-Fiaip-ANAMA met, at the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy, the new Undersecretary, Mara Bizzotto. The meeting, read in a note, “was a precious opportunity to expose to the Undersecretary the long path of constructive collaboration carried out continuously over time by the Federations as a Consultation with the Ministry, with a particular acceleration over the last few years, and to reiterate some proposals regarding the modification of the discipline of mediation, today contained in the draft law AS1894 presented to the Senate”.

The Undersecretary acknowledged “the great work that is done daily by the Consulta to protect the category and consumers, showing appreciation for synergies and collaboration that can lead to important goals, precisely for the spirit of sharing that facilitates dialogue with the Ministry and the Government”. In this regard, it was confirmed by the ministerial leaders that the actuative decree of discipline of the practitioner was now in the direction of arrival, as monitored daily by the Federations themselves, and in fact received the favourable opinion from the State-Regions Conference. On the reform of Law No 39 of 1989, the Undersecretary confirmed the readiness to reason for the inclusion of some of the proposals of the Consulta in one of the next appropriate measures, so as to ensure rapid approval.

“The Consulta has long begun a comparison with the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy also to ask for a revision of the discipline of mediation – explained during the meeting the vice president of FIMAA, Maurizio Pezzetta, the national president of Fiaip, Fabrizio Segalerba and the national president of ANAMA, Renato Maffey -. The law on this matter dates back to 1989 and has remained substantially unchanged for more than thirty years, despite the profound change in the economic, technological and normative context in which the mediators operate daily. The real estate intermediation has a significant impact on people’s lives since 60% of Italian household savings are invested in real estate. It is therefore essential that the regulatory framework ensure high professional standards and protect consumers effectively.”.

The Consulta, concludes the note, “can only appreciate the attention and collaborative spirit exhibited by the Undersecretary Bizzotto, shown fully aware of the challenges and needs of the sector. The hope of the three Federations is to continue the fruitful and constant collaboration in being with the Ministry, which has already allowed the achievement of important goals”.
