ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Artificial intelligence is helping scientists develop a new type of vaccine that can offer protection against a wide range of viruses and help prevent future pandemics. Bgnes mentions the words of a team at the University of Cambridge who, for the first time, spoke of a key component of a vaccine entirely designed by artificial intelligence and subsequently tested on human beings.
The vaccine is designed to be effective against all coronaviruses, including all variants of COVID-19, as well as viruses that currently infect animals but have the potential to cause the next pandemic. Research is still in its early stages but scientists are already working on separate vaccines against influenza and Ebola.
