GENOVA (ITALPRESS) – Ital Brokers announces the appointment of Michele Corbo as CEO, with effect from 1 June 2026.
Consolidated experience manager in the insurance sector, Corbo brings a high-level profile developed within the Generali Group in Ital Brokers, where he held apical roles in the Danni branch and international assignments. In particular, he was Head of the Danni Area of Generali Italia (2017- 2022), CEO of Tua Assicurazioni (Catholic Group) from 2022 to 2024 and, subsequently, member of the Non-Life CInsO board of Generali Polska. More recently he served as Head of Institutional Investor Engagement Italy in General Insurance.
His career stands out for a solid technical expertise in business damage, combined with a significant experience in industrial management of insurance companies, international governance and institutional relations.
The appointment is inserted in a phase of significant growth for Ital Brokers, that in 2025 has recorded an increment of net core revenues of +15.1% and an increase of adjusted EBITDA of +36.8%, to confirm the solidity of the business model and the quality of the relations built with the customers.
The entrance of Corbo responds to a precise strategic choice of the Ital Brokers Industrial Plan: strengthen the ability to accompany customers in the governance of their risks, in a market increasingly exposed to exogenous and endogenous pressure factors.
