ROMA (ITALPRESS) – A little more than half a point in Italian GDP, the value of a financial maneuver, is the contribution that the activity of Poste Italiane has generated in a year for the Country, with an impact on the employment and well-being of families that goes well beyond the business results. According to the last Financial Report, the Group’s activity led by Ad Matteo Del Fante has generated around 14 billion GDP, contributing significantly to Italy’s growth. A value that also translates into concrete benefits for families.
Poste Italiane has in fact supported the distribution of more than 7 billion income from work, between direct, indirect and induced effects throughout the economic chain. Also important is the impact on employment: in 2025 the Group’s activity supported some 182 thousand jobs, contributing in a widespread way to the holding and development of the national employment market.
Not only. Poste Italiane is also a major partner for public finance, with 2.6 billion contributions to Public Administrations, taxes and other tax revenue. An impact that arises from the very structure of the business model: the Group’s direct activities flank in fact the effects generated along the chain of suppliers and those deriving from the expenditure of the families, in a virtuous circle that multiplies the value for the country system, to the point that every euro spent by Poste Italiane for goods and services is able to generate up to three euros of total economic value.
A development engine, therefore, that since 2018 has generated total impacts on the country for approximately 104 billion GDP, 58 billion labor income and 18 billion tax revenue. Numbers confirming the role of Poste Italiane not only as the largest company in the country, but as a strategic infrastructure for the service of economic, social and employment development of Italy.
