Italy on Madison, beauty meets taste in the penultimate day in New York

The third and last day of Italy on Madison has gone through some of the most recognizable habits of Italian lifestyle: the ritual of personal care and food as a social and convivivial moment. The event promoted by the Italian Trade Agency, hosted at the Italian Townhouse in Madison Avenue until May 15, continues to become an immersive showcase dedicated to Made in Italy, between beauty, design, fashion and gastronomy.

The morning of yesterday opened in the name of beauty, with a programming focused on make-up and perfumery. From 10 to 13 the Beauty Touch-Up Bar has been active, a space dedicated to personalized touches with Italian products signed Inca Cosmetics.

At 11:00 was the time of Sweet Obsession: The Power of Gourmand Fragrances, masterclass led by Ally Santos dedicated to gourmand fragrances, one of the most recognizable and growing segments of contemporary perfumery. The Italian perfumery confirms an area where fragrances and storytelling intertwine to tell personal identity, memory and well-being.

Among the leading brands: Breeze, Cavefum, Tuscany Gardens, Synestesie Parfums, Filippo Sorcinelli, Olfactory Laboratory, Noble 1942, Rajani Parfums, Carola Fra i Trulli, Malva 1979, Coreterno Fragrances, Elba Water, Derebus, Rudy Profumi, Blancheide Profumi, ArteDER Olfa, Accendis Fragrances, In Astra Fragrances.

The selection combines perfumery and home fragrance with a strong focus on Made in Italy. The collections range from fresh and clean notes, such as white moss, citrus fruits and marine agreements, to gourmand and sensual fragrances with vanilla, amber, honey, oud and coffee. Many brands are inspired by Italian landscapes, from the Mediterranean to Tuscany, transforming perfume into an evocative experience. There are lines dedicated to the house, between speakers, candles and ambient spray. The guiding thread is an olfactory research that combines design, craftsmanship and lifestyle.

At noon, the space was dedicated to Beyond Grooming, a male make-up class created by BB Skill and led by the New York Make-up Academy. Not just a skincare lesson, but a masterclass on male care.

At 13:00 the programming returned to the perfumery with Golden Glow: The Sensual Allure of Ambery Fragrances, again conducted by Ally Santos, this time dedicated to amber and resinous notes, warmer and enveloping.

In parallel, the food area marked the day following the classic times of the Italian table. From 10 to 12 Italian Breakfast was held, a breakfast built around the morning rituals, between coffee and bakery products. To follow, from 12 to 14, Italian Lunch that brought to the center Italian cuisine through a series of tastings. To close the day one of the most followed moments of this edition: the GialloZafferano Social Aperitivo, scheduled from 18 to 21,30. The dishes have been prepared at the moment and have proposed two types of fresh pasta: cavatelli and ravioli of potatoes and bottarga. Among the guests of the evening, chef Silvia Barban, Alberto Marcolongo, Julia Molinari and pastry chef Bilena Settepani, who ended the day in sweetness with his Sicilian cannoli.
