Il Notariato Italiano inaugurates its representative office in Brussels

BRUSSELS (BELGIUM) (ITALPRESS) – The Italian Notariat has opened today, in the presence of European Commissioner Raffaele Fitto, Executive Vice President of the European Commission, its representative office in Brussels, on Avenue de Cortenbergh 120. The office is located a few steps from the headquarters of the European institutions and in the same building that houses the Council of Notariats of the European Union (CNUE), an organism that gathers the notaries of 22 Member States and coordinates a network of approximately 45,000 professionals. A strategic choice, aimed at fostering a constant dialogue and a daily operational collaboration that will strengthen synergies, develop joint projects and ensure an even more effective coordination and an even more incisive participation in European decision-making processes on civil law, access to justice and protection of citizens, consolidating the contribution of the Italian notariat within the European notary network.

“To be present in Brussels – said the President of the National Council of Notariat, Vito Pace – means strengthening institutional relations by participating closely in normative dialogue, anticipating legislative developments and ensuring that the principles of legal certainty and protection of the person remain central even in the era of digital transformation. In an increasingly interconnected Europe, the stable presence of the Italian Notariat strengthens the role of notaries as a guarantee of preventive legality, legal security and citizens’ trust, even beyond national borders.”.
