Livolsi “Italy has potential, need strategic choices”

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – During the seventh episode of “Power Talks, the power of communication”, editorial format born from the collaboration between Italpress and Philia Associates, Paolo Liguori interviewed Ubaldo Livolsi, president and administrator of Livolsi & Partner, addressing the theme of the positioning of Italy in a rapidly changing international context.

Our country, highlighted Li Volsi, has strong growth potential, “The future of our country is always on a launch ramp. We have so many possibilities, we have so many things to do, but for one verse or another we remain a little bit surprised. ”

According to the president of Livolsi & Partner, the change of global balances requires strategic choices to ensure development to new generations: “The world is changing, it has changed and will change even more, we have to place ourselves in such a way that our children, our grandchildren can have guarantees of growth and to be well as objectively we are well. We need to understand what areas we can grow and how.”.

A central passage of the interview covered the theme of energy and self-sufficiency, considered an essential condition for supporting industrial competitiveness. Livolsi spoke about the need to “be more self-sufficient and then make relationships by bringing our wealth to emerging countries” in exchange for raw materials, “especially energy”, “that can allow us to continue to develop the whole part of production we have. ”

Looking at the prospects for cooperation with Africa and the Middle East, Livolsi highlighted the role of new technologies as a decisive factor in economic development and the growth of international relations. In particular, he observed, “artificial intelligence will change the world, will make a qualitative leap to these populations, they will actually grow a lot and we must bring our culture and our abilities that are especially intellectual in the field of production in these countries, in exchange for raw materials that we are lacking. We must bring them soft skills.”.

In the reasoning on the future of innovation, Livolsi has also indicated a clear strategic line for the European and Italian industry: “probably we have lost the game of the development of technological algorithms mz the application of these algorithms we must carry on us, because the implications are then to apply them to the industrial world, to the manufacturing world, and on the other hand also in the world of medicine, health”.
