MILAN (ITALPRESS) – Il Sole Group 24 ORE confirms positive results by closing the 2025 financial year with a profit of 4 million and a net positive financial position for 6.1 million, an improvement of 12.6 million compared to 31 December 2024, despite the difficulties that have long characterized the publishing market in Italy and the persistent tensions of a general economic and geopolitical framework, marked by uncertainties and medium-term.
Consolidated revenues amounted to 213.9 million (substantially in line with 214.5 million at 31 December 2024), of which 90.7 million advertising revenues, 94.0 million editorial revenues and 29.3 million other revenues. Group advertising revenues, amounting to EUR 90.7 million, increased by 1.5%. Gross operating margin is positive for EUR 22.1 million (EUR 29.0 million in 2024).
The financial year 2025 disbursed negative non-recurring costs and income for 1.1 million (positive for 1.7 million in 2024) The net result is positive for 4.0 million (9.1 million in 2024). The financial year 2025 disbursed negative non-recurring costs and income for 0.8 million (positive for 1.7 million in 2024).
The net financial position at 31 December 2025 is positive for 6.1 million and improves 12.6 million compared to the value at 31 December 2024 negative for 6.5 million euros, thanks mainly to the cash flow generated by operating management.
Net assets amounted to 36.6 million, up 4.1 million compared to 31 December 2024. As for circulation data, the newspaper Il Sole 24 ORE records for the period January-December 2025 a total spread (paper + digital) of 115,297 average daily copies (-3.4% compared to 2024, with a better trend than the market in decrease of -6,2%)
