Italpress-Philia, at the start new TV format Power Talks with Toti, Liguori, Ruggieri and Nicolini

MILANO (ITALPRESS) – Starts Tuesday, March 10, 2026, every week on the Italpress network, “Power Talks, the power of communication”, new editorial format born from the collaboration between Italpress and Philia Associates, the Milanese company of strategic communication and institutional relations.
A 15-minute weekly event dedicated to the analysis of economic, political and social relevance from the point of view of communication, soft power and the ability to affect decision-making. Power Talks does not tell the facts: it tells how the facts are built, interpreted and governed.
Power Talks will be Claudio Brachino, a historic face of Mediaset and one of the most authoritative Italian television information professionals, who will lead the first episode in dialogue with Giovanni Toti, Senior Partner of Philia Associates, and Gaspare Borsellino, director of Italpress.
Brachino and Toti shared years of work on Italy One in the early 2000s, producing together some of the most successful programs of Italian information entertainment: Power Talks is also born from that story.
“A press agency has the task of giving news, of course. But also to explain how phenomena arise, how communication is built, what effects it produces, who manages it and how. Communication creates fashions, trends, values. Having professionals who live in these processes every day means offering readers of Italpress a level of reading of reality that goes far beyond the news,” says Gaspare Borsellino, director of the Italpress agency.
Power Talks will be conducted by the Senior Partners of Philia Associates, figures of recognized authority in the panorama of communication, journalism and Italian institutions: Paolo Liguori – dean of Italian journalism, among the most recognizable voices of the national public debate; Andrea Ruggieri – journalist, opinionist and former MP, already close collaborator of Silvio Berlusconi; Jessica Nicolini – journalist, spokesman and chief communication of the Liguria Region for almost a decade, who managed the communication of national emergencies like the collapse of the Morandi Bridge.
Power Talks is aimed at those who do not merely observe communication, but uses it daily to achieve results: responsible communication and institutional affairs, brand and marketing directors, CEO and founder, opinion maker of the economic and institutional system.
Every episode – 15 minutes, every Tuesday – will be available on the Italpress network and distributed on the web, social channels and local televisions, in symbolic and valued coherence with the Portofino Talks brand.
