TRENTO (ITALPRESS) – Go back “Le Voci del Domani”, the Call for Ideas of the Festival dell’Economia di Trento that invites young people to take their word and to bring their point of view to the center of public debate. A concrete opportunity to transform ideas, visions and skills of the new generations into active contributions within one of the country’s main cultural events.
The XXI Festival of Economy, dedicated to the theme “From markets to new powers. The hopes of young people,” he calls into question the generation that today lives in person the great economic, social and geopolitical transformations. The evolution of markets, the emergence of new balances of power, inequalities, the future of work and enterprise are the challenges on which young people are invited to intervene, with ideas able to read the present and imagine new scenarios.
“The Voices of Tomorrow” was born to create a real space of confrontation, in which young people are not only recipients of the story, but protagonists of dialogue. The goal is to enhance critical looks and innovation skills, strengthening the comparison between generations and contributing to a collective reflection on the economic and social future, in Italy and beyond.
The call is open to young people between 18 and 30 years who want to apply with an idea, a reflection or a point of view in line with the theme of the Festival and with the program 2026. To participate it is necessary to send a presentation text, of maximum 1,200 characters, accompanied by a presentation video (duration 2 minutes), in which to tell the proposed theme and the motivations of the application. The young people selected by the Scientific Committee of the Festival, chaired by the Director of the Sun 24 Hours Fabio Tamburini and composed by Professor Ericka Costa, associate of Business Economics of the Department of Economics and Management of the University of Trento, by Professor Luigi Bonatti, ordinary of Economic Policy at the University of Trento, and by the historian of the economy Adriana Castagnoli, will become speaker of the XXI Festival of Economy of Trento, conquering room to participate actively in the public debate:.
Thanks to the Call for Ideas “Le Voci del Domani”, in fact, the young people selected in the edition 2025, had the opportunity to intervene alongside protagonists of the economic and academic world such as economists Giulio Sapelli and Stefano Scarpetta (Ocse), Rector University Bocconi Francesco Billari, Vice President of the European Parliament Antonella Sberna, Secretary General CGIL Maurizio Landini, Managing Director Maurizio Tarquini. The Festival dell’Economia di Trento, organized for the fifth consecutive year by Gruppo Il Sole 24 ORE e Trentino Marketing on behalf of the Autonomous Province of Trento and with the collaboration of the Municipality and the University of Trento, will be held from Wednesday 20 May to Sunday 24 May 2026.
