MILANO (ITALPRESS) – Economy Group expands its editorial offer and launches “Research Circular”, a new six-month magazine dedicated to the story of scientific research as a strategic lever for innovation, competitiveness and sustainability of the Country System, promoted by Roche Italia.
“Research Circular” was born as a participatory editorial laboratory, designed to give
voice to those who search it every day – researchers, scientists, clinical, enterprises, institutions – and
to those who benefit from care, training and industrial development. The objective is
make visible a process often perceived as distant or foreign, but that generates
concrete value for all and not only for the health of citizens and for the economy.
Each number will be like a multi-voice reportage: from the closer look to discoveries
science redesigning public health and therapeutic innovation, up to
economic and social implications that move the country system, between challenges of competitiveness
global and inclusion opportunities for young talents. Expression of a circularity
concrete that embraces researchers and investors, patients and associations, policymakers and
startup, with an approach that rejects the discounted news and seeks the deep meaning of
changes.
The magazine is part of the wider project “Research Circular”, campaign
information launched by Roche Italia to strengthen awareness on research
scientific as common good and as key factor of growth. A special theme
relevant in our country, which while counting on excellence recognised at the level
international is losing attractiveness in investments in clinical research, with possible
relapses on patient access to therapeutic innovation.
Edita da Economy Group, “Ricerca Circolare” è diretta da Marina Marinetti, condirettrice
of the monthly Economy, and proposes an in-depth analysis of the new frontiers of research
– from artificial intelligence to personalized medicine – with a focus on relapses
social, economic, industrial, cultural and scientific investments which in turn
stimulate new scientific research and therefore additional beneficial effects at different levels. Each issue addresses the theme of research in a systemic perspective, reporting
health, economic development, sustainability and competitiveness.
“The birth of the magazine brings with it a declared support: that of Roche, committed
for years to defend the autonomy of research, to accelerate the entry of innovative therapies
and to strengthen the network of care communities. This alliance transforms the mission of
Circulating research in a cultural challenge: offering reading tools and emblematic stories
able to tell a complex ecosystem, where the impact of science is measured in
daily gestures of doctors, patients, entrepreneurs and researchers – comments Marina
Marinetti, director responsible for Circular Research – A challenge that moves on two
fronts: document the concrete effects of research on the territory and stimulate the culture of
open collaboration, capable of joining public and private under the same responsibility. A
who sees in search a heritage of progress, Circular Research promises knowledge,
connections and tools to take an active role in a new growth season and
awareness, together with Roche and the entire ecosystem of Italian science.”.
The first issue of “Research Circle” will be available from 10 February, in
newsstand attached to the monthly Economy, and may be requested free of charge
online through the website www.ricercacircolare.it.
