Intesa Sanpaolo at the top of the Top 200 Brand Reputation, on the podium also UniCredit and Eni

MILANO (ITALPRESS) – Intesa Sanpaolo, UniCredit and Eni are on the podium of the Top Brand Reputation (www.topbrandreputation.it), the ranking drawn up by Reputation Manager that measures the online reputation in Italy of over 200 companies, including monitoring also many international brands. The observatory examines, for each company, digital identity, online content and historical evolution, calculating the reputational impact of each content based on a model that evaluates over 100 parameters.

In particular, in the quarter of 1 July-30 September 2025, more than 2.5 million online content for the 217 companies included in the basket were collected and analyzed. Of the 15 sectors in analysis, the Media & Telco sector is the most discussed in the quarter in analysis, with 665,5 thousand online content. Following, with 461.5 thousand, the Automotive cluster. Third Finance, with 262,6 thousand content, followed a short distance from Fashion & Beauty, which counts 242.4 thousand online conversations.

“The brands of Finance and Energy confirm the strongest in the standings – explains Andrea Barchiesi, founder and CEO of Reputation Manager – thanks to the solidity of the companies in question. Interestingly, they do not necessarily represent the most commented sectors, Energy does not appear among the first five per volumes. This means that the content weighs very positively from the reputational point of view, while in other cases large volumes correspond to a decline in reputation. It happens, for example, for the Automotive and Fashion, sectors that are going through a delicate conjunction.”.

The Top Brand Reputation ranking sees Intesa Sanpaolo, with Carlo Messina driving, leading with 81.23 points: the bank has distinguished itself for the growth of profits, which in the first half of 2025 exceeded 5.2 billion euros, for the strengthening of initiatives in support of Italian companies (with approximately 29 billion new credit provided to families and enterprises) and for the role of reference in the European energy transition thanks to the huge investments to support new renewable plants. UniCredit, under the direction of Andrea Orcel, conquered the second position with 78.02 points thanks to the increase of profits, which in the first half of the year reached 6.1 billion euros (+8%), international expansion – evidenced by the operations on Commerzbank – and a growth strategy that includes investments in human capital and partnership with the university world. Two rooms on the third step of the Eni podium, led by Claudio Descalzi, which reaches 73.92 points thanks to the commitment to Just Transition, the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding with Sonatrach for the strengthening of cooperation for energy security, commitment to Ivory Coast and Algeria and to projects of innovation and sustainability.
