ROMA (ITALPRESS) – In November, according to Istat data, industrial production prices grow by 1.0% on a monthly basis while they decrease by 0.2% on an annual basis (was +0.1% in October).
On the domestic market prices rise by 1.3% compared to October and decrease by 0.3% on an annual basis (from +0.2% of the previous month). Net of the energy sector, instead, the prices record a more contained increase of the economy (+0.3%) and show a tendential increase in slightly acceleration (+1.0%, from +0.7% of October).
On the foreign market prices increase by 0.3% on a monthly basis (+0.3% in both areas, euro and not euro) and by 0.6% on an annual basis (+1.0% euro area, +0.2% non euro area). In the quarter of September-November 2025, compared to the previous one, the prices to the production of the industry increase by 0.2% (+0.1% internal market, +0.4% foreign market).
In November, among the manufacturing activities, the major increases on the internal market concern other manufacturing industries, repair and installation of machinery and equipment (+3.1%), basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical preparations (+2.8%) and metallurgy and manufacturing of metal products, excluding machines and plants (+2.5%).
On the foreign market they concern means of transport (+6.4%) and food industries, drinks and tobacco (+3.8%), for the euro area, and other manufacturing industries, repair and installation of machines and equipment (+7.0%), for the non-euro area.
Wide ranges on the foreign market are found for coke and refined petroleum products (-11.3% euro area, -5.9% non euro area). On the internal market, the trend of the prices of electricity and gas supply (-3.8%, from -1.0% of October).
In November, construction prices for residential and non-residential buildings grew by 0.3% on a monthly basis and by 2.1% on an annual basis (from +1.6% of October); Roads and railways increase by 0.5% in economic terms and 1.0% in tendential terms (was +0.4% in October).
In the quarter of September-November, compared to the previous, the prices of residential and non-residential buildings increase by 0.3%, those of Roads and Railways remain unchanged.
