It will be the great success of always the traditional concert of Cristiana Pegoraro at Carnegie Hall in New York, already gone sold out for weeks. ‘Armonies of peace’ the title chosen for the concert presented by the Permanent Representation of Italy to the United Nations that wants to assume a more intimate and evocative connotation. It will be in fact a candlelight concert, Cristiana Pegoraro and his piano on stage accompanied by soft and warm light of candles, an intimate and collected atmosphere that will envelop the artist and the public in the famous American temple of music. A tribute to peace the theme at the center of this spectacular exhibition, peace among peoples, but also that to which one tends in his inner world.
A moment of inspiration, a journey through music to investigate emotions and abandon yourself to deep reflections. This performance at Carnegie Hall for Cristiana Pegoraro arrives a few days from another important recognition that the pianist received in America. In fact, she was awarded in Washington, in the presence of the Italian ambassador Marco Peronaci, in the Italian Design Week, the ‘Champion Award in a virtuoso plan’ for her world contribution to the classical musical. On the same occasion were awarded figures that embody Italian and international excellence in other areas of activity. It is a few years ago instead the delivery to Cristiana Pegoraro of the World Peace Award from the Italian Cultural Club of the United Nations, which recognizes the artist’s commitment to spreading messages of peace through music.
